A brief history of Golchha Organisation and Information Technology: Leading to formation of IT Nepal Pvt. Ltd

Golchha Organisation is one of the first companies in Nepal to embrace computers as a formidable tool to undertake business operations. Golchha organisation introduced networked computers at its head quarters and Hulas Steel Industries dating back to 1986. The organisation has since then adopted state of the art technologies suitable for Nepalese conditions. IT Nepal (formerly a division of Hulas Steel Industries P Ltd) had implemented a bar-code payroll system to facilitate its employees in recording their entering and exiting times. It introduces pre-printed cheque systems at its sugar-mills for payment of funds to farmers in year 1997. It has since then gone from strength to strength in creating a strong team of people now actively a part of IT Nepal P Ltd.


Today, Golchha Organisation utilises state-of-the-art technology through out its various establishments – supported and mainly developed by IT Nepal P Ltd. Golchha Organisation is running more than 350 computers in all of its ventures.
